Our Trip to Myrtle Beach

We are sitting here in a hotel room in Myrtle Beach. OK, the girls are still sleeping. It was a fun trip. We drove up on Friday and stayed at a four star hotel. (Got a good deal through Hotwire.) It was nice! Friday night we basically just ate and shopped at the ocean side stores. Chey needed new flip flops as we could only find one of hers in the car. They got new swimsuits too. Only $7 each!
Saturday was Medieval Times with the Girl Scouts. Our knight won which was really cool. He was cute too!
We got to go to the beach two time but it was late in the afternoon so it wasn’t the best weather for it.
We decided to stay one more night. Got an inexpensive hotel off 17A. Then we woke up to rain!!! We were going to go to the beach for the day but I guess that isn’t in the plans.

Welcome to My Avon Store!

Myrtle Beach Here We Come!

The girls and I are going to Myrtle Beach tomorrow. They have a Girl Scout activity on Saturday morning but we are going to make a “mini” vacation out of it. Very excited!!!

Gotta start blogging again!

Wow, it has been almost a month since I blogged. Funny how life does that to you. My next step on here is to find out how to get people to follow my blog. Any ideas?

Now on to the changes I have been working on. Most of them, I haven’t done so much with. But I have lost 9 pounds in three weeks. I am very excited about that. I am starting to feel good about my weight again. I still have more to go but I am sticking to it this time!!

A Whole New Me

Wow, last week was a challenging week and it culminated with a horrible day yesterday. Ironically, yesterday was my anniversary but I am getting a divorce so yesterday was not any different than any other day. However, I decided to make some changes in my life and yesterday was the kicker. So, I am going to start taking a new direction with this blog. It will still be scrapbooking related but there will be other posts as well. I am going to be making some changes in my life and I will keep you posted on those. Off to an appointment with my divorce lawyer so I can’t really start on those changes now but I am really excited about adding some new focus areas to my blog.

Scrapbooking Tip of the Day

I will post these as often as I can.

Today’s tip:

Use leftover scraps from the layout you just finished to immediately make a quick card. Your materials will already be coordinated and it takes only a few minutes to put the card together. In no time at all, you will have a ready supply of cards. I will be trying this one myself.
